About The Role

Twitch is seeking a Director of Sales Planning to join our hypergrowth ad sales business in NYC. This is a unique opportunity to develop, implement and drive revenue maximization strategies across Twitch’s global portfolio.

This position will report to and work collaboratively with the Head of Strategic planning and with cross-functional leadership group to build, sustain and grow the vision for improving the Sales Planning function across our regional offices and internationally. As a key leader in a rapidly growing global digital media company, this person will establish a high performing team and help drive significant revenue growth.

You Will

  • Lead a team of Sales Planners across 5 U.S offices
  • Collaborate with various heads of sales on sales planning needs in each of their offices
  • Provide direction on training and education to Sales Planners
  • Collaborate with Sales in assessing Sales Planner performance to ensure that personal and team goals are achieved
  • Implement pricing and packaging strategy in order to maximize revenue
  • Develop processes and documentation to support changes within our toolset and across our business strategy
  • Constantly assess all steps within the RFP process to resolve inefficiencies and redundancy
  • Utilize marketplace knowledge and experience to inform new and developing go-to-market strategies
  • Collaborate with the Ad Operations leads to build a seamless flow across pre sales functions
  • Partner with the marketing teams to ensure Sales packages meet current marketplace expectations
  • Collaborate with Senior Management and Analytics to generate reporting, analysis of trends and support optimization to facilitate the growth of the business
  • Build out Sales Planning function in new/international markets

You Have:

  • A minimum of 6 years working in a digital advertising capacity, with a focus on planning, yield, reporting or analytics preferred
  • At least 2 years digital management experience
  • Experience working within a national sales organization
  • A strong knowledge of online ad products, ad serving capabilities, philosophies and drawbacks
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Ability to present complicated concepts and ideas in an easy to understand format
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated, highly analytical, data-driven, and has exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience effectively communicating with senior management
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Expert in Excel, PowerPoint, G Suite
