About the Role

The Director of Programmatic Enablement will develop and support Twitch revenue growth across multiple regions as the programmatic expert. This is a commercial role, with some operational responsibilities, supporting the sales functions through collaboration and being a contact and business relationship owner with some trading desks, DSP’s, SSP’s, and other sources of demand. The ideal candidate will have programmatic experience at a publisher, agency, or ad tech vendor. You will report to the SVP of Revenue Operations to help with the growth and expansion in Asia.

You Will:

  • Manage programmatic efforts at Twitch and support scaling the business
  • Support leadership, product, and technology teams on the development of programmatic strategy, products, and integrations with all technology partners
  • Configuration, testing, troubleshooting, experimentation, optimization of all connections to indirect demand sources, including DSP’s, trading desks, and more.
  • Work with other global programmatic directors and managers to collaborate on strategies with each platform, service, buyer and so forth
  • Oversee commercial and vendor relationships with Trading Desks, DSPs, Exchanges, and SSPs, in collaboration with your global enablement team members
  • Work with Sales and Strategic Planning teams to guarantee an aligned approach to pricing across the globe (ex. Pricing floors, block lists and so forth)
  • Coordinate with demand partners on advertisers or creatives that violate ad acceptance policies
  • Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reporting on revenues and trends related to automated trading and analyze data to help shape the Twitch offering and ensure we are ahead of the curve
  • Implement private marketplace and programmatic guaranteed deals, globally with a strategic and tactical mindset
  • Analyze new digital advertising technologies (data management platforms, ad servers, ad exchanges, DSPs, SSPs and so forth) to promote new plans
  • Manage all regional programmatic operations, setting up and managing all and any marketplace activity, deals and guaranteed campaigns.

You Have:

  • You have 10+ years experience in Programmatic, commercial and strategy understanding
  • An understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, with a focus on programmatic platforms, services, technology, and processes (ex. Programmatic guaranteed, PMP’s, Deal ID’s and so forth)
  • A deep experience working with DSP, SSP, and exchange platforms and how technology can be best used by Twitch
  • Proficiency with/advanced knowledge of Excel (must understand pivot tables, v-lookups)
  • Experience negotiating contracts/agreements in collaboration with Legal and Finance team members
  • Experience with large datasets to determine trends/patterns which can be used for pricing decisions
  • Experience with main players globally in video, display and mobile advertising market segment
