About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, Northern Europe, the Director of Partnerships, UK & Ireland will design and put into practise regional live-streaming content plans alongside leading a team comprised of acquisition, account management and associate personnel. You will negotiate and close complex broadcast licencing agreements with important industry partners in the UK digital talent and content creator space. You have 3 or more years of people management experience, 6 or more years of business development experience, a customer service mentality, a passion for multiplayer entertainment and experience working under evolving timelines.

You Will:

  • Create and execute local strategic programmes and other content partnership projects
  • Lead a team of partnerships personnel
  • Conduct annual territory level strategy planning alongside ad hoc creator business plans
  • Track and report important performance metrics and progress against goals
  • Provide regular narrative reporting to senior management
  • Influence, contribute to and accomplish regional strategic goals
  • Creator acquisition & business development, from outreach to complex contract negotiation and execution
  • Manage relationships with existing partnered content creators and their representation where applicable
  • Work with multiple internal departments to achieve regional goals
  • Develop and operate systems designed to improve creator satisfaction with Twitch

You Have:

  • At least 3+ years people management experience
  • At least 6+ years business development experience in the UK internet/media/talent agency landscape
  • Must be strategic, creative and can narrate how plans will satisfy organisational goals
  • Focused on setting and exceeding personal, team, and organisational goals
  • Can liaise at all levels
  • Understanding of common online video and online advertising metrics
  • Developed understanding of the traditional and digital media sector
  • Ability to travel to gaming conventions (E.g. Gamescom, TwitchCon), more than 30 days of travelling a year
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel (can utilise complex spreadsheets)
  • Have an existing network in the media and talent industry
