Community Manager, Brazil - fixed term contract

About the Role

This is a contractor position with a fixed term.

Twitch seeks an adaptable, self-motivated, creative individual who will be responsible for executing and maintaining community initiatives in Brazil. You will work alongside the Content and Partnerships team around the day-to-day operations of the area. You will operationally support the regional team to onboard and develop broadcasters across the country while focusing on delivering the highest quality service to provide a great experience to our partners. Communication is your forte and you are dedicated to working with small to high profile community members. You are capable of managing multiple priorities at the same time and working to increase effectiveness on external facing tasks

You will

  • Manage Partner Applications for the region
  • Assist with front-page programming operation and strategy
  • Directly interact with streamers and internal staff to resolve concerns and provide feedback Identify creators for 3rd party campaigns and Twitch projects
  • Help the Partnership team ensure all Partners’ voices are heard and relayed to the appropriate internal stakeholders
  • Assist the Support team with any Partner related tickets that are submitted
  • Manage and execute local strategic programs which provide value to broadcasters.

You have

  • Must speak Portuguese and English
  • Experience within the Media, Gaming, Talent Management, Entertainment and/or Content Creator industries
  • Experience around engaging with users online and growing communities
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Customer service mentality and ability to work autonomously Excellent software skills (Google suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, calendar programs)
  • Impeccable organization and extremely detail oriented

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with Twitch as user or broadcaster
  • A passion for videogames and the communities that surround them
  • Discord app experience and product knowledge
  • Direct experience working with Partners in the gaming industry, preferably in a community role
  • Experience working with international teams
  • Customer Support experience
