About the Role
Our mission is to provide top-tier service to our partners. An Account Manager for the Strategic Partnerships team will guide the ongoing success of Strategic Partners on Twitch, liaising between the business and our most influential and visible content creators. You will manage relationships and provide excellent account management experience in an industry where best practices are constantly evolving. Identifying, tracking, and addressing Partner sentiment will be a part of your daily routine. You'll tap creators in your portfolio of Partners for business and promotional opportunities that require managing expectations across multiple teams. This role is best suited for someone who isn't flustered when they find themselves in situations where there isn't a playbook to draw from.
Account Managers are a part of the Content, Business Development, and Partnerships organization and work with the Twitch Marketing, Sales, Business Operations, Legal, Finance, and Developer Success teams. You will report to the Director of Strategic Partnerships.
You can work in San Francisco, CA or Los Angeles, CA.
You Will:
- Be the primary contact at Twitch for cohort of our most visible Partners
- Work closely with the teams responsible for Acquisition to assess the viability and serviceability of deal terms that make their way into our Content License Agreements
- Oversee the post signing obligations for Partners on custom agreements
- Work with Twitch's legal team to amend existing agreements
- Work with the Content Finance team to forecast and assess content opportunities and their associated costs
- Work with the Content Accounting team to assure an accurate and hassle free payment experience for creators and vendors
- Track creator sentiment in Twitch's CRM
- Report important data to your cohort of Partners and team members
- Surface sponsorship opportunities to Partners by working with Ad Sales teams.
- Identify latest content opportunities and build growth strategies to make the most of their momentum
- Work with Product teams to identify new products (i.e. Extensions) that add value and audience to the Partners' content on Twitch
You Have:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent qualification
- At least three years of strategic account management or other relevant client relations experience in digital video or other entertainment industries
- Project management experience
- Experience using a CRM (Salesforce, Zendesk, Zoho)
- Experience with the digital creator ecosystem
- Intimate knowledge of Twitch and its monetization products
Bonus Points
- Existing professional relationships with user-generated content creators, game developers, or gaming media
- Deal negotiation experience
- Experience engaging at an executive level with external parties
- Proficiency with a CRM (Salesforce, Zendesk, Zoho)
- Proficiency in a either Google Sheets or Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
