Summary:

The Sr. Manager Global Ecommerce Marketing will work with the Sr. Director to set vision, strategy, and roadmap across various marketing initiatives to drive e-commerce growth globally. This role will also own the strategy and execution of our email and loyalty marketing programs to drive engagement, brand loyalty, conversion, and customer acquisition and retention. The person in this role must have exceptional analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities that help to maximize revenue and growth across our global e-commerce sites.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Sr. Director Digital Marketing/ Ecommerce to map out the global strategy across email marketing, loyalty marketing, text marketing, affiliate marketing, and retargeting.
  • Optimize and grow efforts across email marketing globally to drive sales amongst email subscribers and increase engagement and loyalty with the brands.
  • Define and own the email marketing strategy
  • Analyze campaign KPIs and adjust initiatives accordingly to optimize conversion, open rate, click rate, etc.
  • Develop the email calendar in partnership with creative, brand, social, and marketing teams and ensure the monthly email calendar aligns with marketing plans for new product introductions, promotions, partnerships, events, and blogs.
  • Leverage learnings to improve unique open rates, CTR, and conversion rates; closely monitor email list health and unsubscribe rates
  • Create testing roadmap (subject line, content, time of day, content, landing pages, frequency), iterating and improving upon existing and new initiatives
  • Define the email segmentation strategies.
  • Monitor, analyze, and share weekly and monthly performance to goals and learnings with stakeholders
  • Work closely with our lead creative/ site dev support to plan out email sends.
  • Manage the relationship with the ESP platform.
  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of loyalty marketing to optimize acquisition and retention.
  • Create, lead, and manage marketing strategies to engage loyalty members throughout their lifecycle, increasing customer loyalty, activation, and retention.
  • Manage acquisition strategy through continuous optimization of the program including development of new offers and incentives to drive enrollments.
  • Strategize and plan the 2022 Roccat program and new territories to launch.
  • Establish and measure performance benchmarks to develop insightful, actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor competitor CRM and Loyalty programs, testing and adopting best practices to continuously improve program performance and value.
  • Develop and manage global digital marketing KPIs, dashboards & reporting to garner insights and inform go-forward planning including:
  • Site analytics and insights.
  • Weekly summary dashboards for management.
  • Development of ad hoc reports (as requested) that can successfully address and articulate the business request or question.
  • Presentations of trends and areas of opportunity/risk.

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • B.A./B.S. with 5+ years digital marketing experience at a brand, agency, or technology company, or other appropriate work experience.
  • Successful track record developing digital marketing plans, executing, measuring, and delivering on performance targets.
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics and/or digital marketing/email platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to dig through data for insights.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical capability. Uses logical thought processes to solve problems and can clearly and concisely communicate statistical insights.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and juggle shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • Outstanding proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Understanding Shopify, Klaviyo, and Basecamp a plus.
