Summary: The New Product Category (NPC) Team is a strategic team that has been created to research new market expansion opportunities in the field of gaming. The ideal candidate will have some background understanding and/or experience of gaming simulation, the role requires someone who represents Turtle Beach and its products in the market so a detailed understanding of products, community, social, events and market/industry is essential or as a minimum someone who has less experience but is a fast learner and passionate about learning more about the category.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent the consumer in Turtle Beach simulation and ensure that we provide world-class experience, customer service & product development feedback initiatives.
  • Detailed understanding of the category, products, competitors, and community and use this understanding effectively to drive world-class support and improved product development.
  • Monitor and manage social feeds, blogs, forums, emails, posts & messages. Proactively resolve issues, answer questions and provide encouragement and support.
  • Support Turtle Beach’s wider technical support team with specialized information to enhance quality and consumer experience.
  • Support with product training
  • Manage consumer updates of SW, drivers & apps.
  • Create exciting content for the community, knowledge base, instructional and informative videos, etc.
  • Engage with the community and represent Turtle Beach professionally and positively.
  • Support Sales & Marketing with simulation-based activity.
  • Participate in team creative and NPi events by being the ‘voice of the consumer ‘ in these categories.
  • Create databases around technical issues and provide mechanisms for resolution (working with a wider team)
  • Attend simulation events, represent Turtle Beach and its products in a positive professional manner.

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Ideally, BSc Degree Qualified in relevant discipline.
  • Min 3-5 years in a position that provides experience in this area of expertise.
  • Passionate about simulation would be fantastic, willing to learn and a fast learner is also acceptable.
  • Clear, concise, and professional communicator
  • Technically literate, the ability to understand product architecture, connectivity, drivers, software, and applications would be desirable.
