About You: We are looking for an enthusiastic and independent Sales Account Manager. You constantly seek out and identify new business opportunities. You have a proven track record of driving revenue growth and creating meaningful retail relationships. You are a strong collaborator that thrives on working in a fast-paced environment.

The Job:

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and managing sales growth for retail and distribution accounts in the US. In this role, you will be working together with internal sales, product, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams.

  • Create, chase and close deals that will drive profitable growth for our brands with new and existing retail/distribution partners.
  • Negotiate retail programs, contracts, costs, and terms of sale.
  • Study historical sales data, establish sales forecast, and plan future sales targets
  • Track actual performance against expectations and modify strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for various internal groups
  • Analyze business trends and understand the customer base.
  • Create, distribute, and execute retail promotional plans.
  • Manage and maintain accurate retail marketing accrual summaries and reassess the future retail marketing plan needed to maintain the sales goals while staying within budget.
  • Develop and present compelling presentations and merchandising solutions to customers.
  • Own product launch execution with retail partners.
  • Stay current on industry news as well as competitive products and features
  • Interacts with Accounting, Operations, Marketing, and Sales staff to ensure the product sold is delivered timely and invoiced accurately; resolves discrepancies to complete the transaction.
  • Maintain relationships with manufacturer’s reps to manage the day-to-day business within the channel to maximize sales.

The Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Passion for gaming is preferred.
  • Previous sales or marketing experience in gaming, consumer electronics, or consumer goods
  • Experience managing US retail and distribution accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Proven successful presentation, oral & written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in office technology; MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to travel; up to 30% travel can be expected.
