Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios, creator of the highly-acclaimed Forza Motorsport franchise, is looking for an experienced C++ game developer to help deliver the next generation of Forza Motorsport titles. If hired, you will be on a multi-discipline feature-team, working directly with designers, producers, testers, and other developers to deliver high quality features to our customers. We are looking for someone that has well-rounded experience in different areas of game development.
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional C++ development experience
- Must have shipped a game OR have your own game/engine demo
- Experience working on multiplayer, UI, gameplay, or networking code
- Demonstrated passion for game development
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and passion for games, cars, and racing
- Experience shipping on Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC
- Ability to write multithreaded, asynchronous systems
- Experience writing client-server multiplayer systems
- Experience profiling and optimizing C++ code
- Strong 3D math skills
