Senior Producer

Treyarch is a seeking a top-notch and experienced Senior Producer to join our team. Senior Producers are leaders in the studio who are business owners directly responsible for planning long- and short-term project goals for multiple large game areas and guiding them to completion.

The Senior Producer coordinates with the Executive Producer to formulate the game plan, then manages a high-performing team of Producers to deliver those plans on time, on budget and to the highest possible quality. A qualified Senior Producer is a high-level critical thinker and professional problem solver who is as comfortable working with executives as with the development team.

A Normal Day At Treyarch Could Include

  • Reviewing the project, focused on your areas of responsibility to identify any risk areas
  • Collaborating with department leads and other production team members solving complex problems around project planning and scoping and coordinating to redeploy the team, as needed, to ensure development hits project goals
  • Leading initiatives on new large project features, while accurately scoping project deliverables, defining project requirements and establishing metrics to measure success
  • Developing the long-term strategy and plan for your business
  • Creating, organizing, tracking, and managing milestone schedules
  • Actively managing your production team in both professional growth and work capacity
  • Strengthening relationships with senior production team members and team leads
  • Creating new processes/pipelines or improving existing ones with a focus on reducing friction and increasing efficiency
  • Providing feedback to improve product quality and drive innovation
  • Supplying updates on project status
  • Working with your manager to gain an understanding of their role and responsibilities to challenge yourself to use that knowledge to grow and develop
  • Providing constructive feedback when its needed and working well with others while listening and being receptive to others thoughts and opinions

Who You Are

  • Experienced Leader: A proven leader who leads by example with a track record shipping high quality games in leadership positions; deep understanding of the various disciplines of game development; identify complex development and personnel issues and make tough, timely, and sometimes controversial decisions; help developers and producers with the tools, skill set and support systems needed for success; an expert in mentoring and developing future managers and leaders; keenly aware of people challenges; work with production team to put people in roles that provide best chance for success; actively seeking out ways to improve strength of team and team dynamic
  • Adaptive Planner and Problem Solver: Consistently meets deadlines; forward-looking and proactive with the ability to identify risk early and suggest effective mitigation strategies; expert understanding of goals and priorities, and can effectively balance among them when collaborating with partners and making development decisions; recognize when support, not direction, is needed and is able to get the right people involved to find solutions; tackles issues in a timely manner so as not to slow progress by letting hot items grow cold; proven eye for quality - both visual and functional
