QUEST

You will develop robust open-source business intelligence solutions according to requirements, best practices, and industry standards to support internal stakeholders make data-driven decisions
You will analyze complex data from disparate sources, perform data cleansing and manipulation operations for ingestion into the data warehouse (DWH) using ETL methodologies
You will develop and enhance the DWH, ETL processes, reports/dashboards for performance and scalability
You will participate in the full BI project lifecycle including conception, design, development, testing and production support
You will identify and resolve technical issues with source data, ETL, DWH, reports/dashboards

SKILLS

You have successfully completed a university degree specializing in (business) informatics, programming, mathematics or a comparable analytical training program with a strong quantitative orientation
You have adequate professional experience in a comparable BI position
You have a strong understanding of SQL; you are able to write and understand complex queries, functions and stored procedures
You are proficient with at least one ETL tool (experience in Pentaho would be an advantage)
Experience in column-oriented database management systems would be an added advantage
You have worked with at least one visualization tool
You are familiar with the core concepts of data warehousing, ETL and visualization
You possess strong quantitative & problem solving skills
You are a quick learner, motivated and enjoy working with new technologies
You can effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical subject matter to non-technical business stakeholders, train business users to use the BI platform and show-case the value BI can provide to the different corporate functions
You have very good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
