Torn Banner studios recently launched Chivalry 2, the sequel to our multi-million copy selling original. We are a small independent video game studio of around 60 developers in Toronto and we love creating innovative new experiences that focus on challenge and fun.

Job Description

The Role

You will be a leading force and owner of strategic partnerships, including key global distribution partnerships. You will provide strategic insight which will empower Torn Banner to deliver our defined goals and approach to our key partners in the smoothest way possible.

Partner Management

Manage and support some of our most Strategic Distribution Partnerships, Drive product enhancements and implementation needs for all partners. Develop and execute the overall partner strategy/vision/KPI’s. Drive internal alignment. Be the subject matter expert for the partner internally. Work with the teams to drive the distribution of our games.

Business Development

Collaborate with senior leadership to drive and enable new business opportunities with the partner. Work on any & all commercial contracts needed for this partnership

Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and educate various internal stakeholders with customer trends and identify investment opportunities for growth
  • Own KPIs, Business Reviews, and P&L management
  • Own quarterly revenue growth objectives
  • Pitch, onboard and scale new media properties
  • Drive special deal terms and negotiations with publishers to optimize collaboration
  • Drive adoption of products for publishers, including tools to implement effective integrations (links, display units, etc.), reporting tools, product feeds etc.
  • Work closely with technology teams to inform product roadmap and provide feedback on product requirements
  • Partner with the executive team to support strategic businesses plans for the organization
  • Manage key relationships with partner platforms
  • Liaison for government grants and partnerships

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Highly analytical and data driven with a bias towards data-based decision making
  • Be willing to driven new initiatives and operate with limited guidance
  • Bring analytical horsepower and a deep curiosity about how things work
  • Be commercially savvy and have excellent business judgment
  • Bring operational rigor, holding your program stakeholders to the highest of standards
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to influence remote teams, both technical and non-technical
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. Frequent documentation for leadership updates expected.
  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements
  • Expert at identifying and executing successful partnership deals and large-scale marketing deals
  • Willingness to work in Toronto is preferred, but remote opportunities are available
