Overview

Topgolf Media is looking for an experienced, hands-on Development Director to join our team working on a new mobile game in the golf space. The DD plays a vital role in successfully moving the team from one project phase to the next while ensuring a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and communication. As keeper of the schedule, they will partner with leads to drive alignment and deliver sprints, milestones, and releases on time and to quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with engineering, design and art leads to set quality targets for the product, and drive processes to ensure those targets are being met.
  • Establish a viable project plan and schedule, determine task dependencies, balance scope, assign tasks and align stakeholders to deliver on defined project outcomes.
  • Maintain and optimize the team's established processes and development workflows.
  • Proactively identify, track and mitigate project development risks.
  • Work with project managers to manage the project schedule, milestones and sprint deliverables.

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of project management or team leadership experience
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience developing and shipping games, mobile games is a plus
  • Experience in implementing and managing various project management methodologies including Agile / Scrum
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
