TOKIGAMES is a B2B "Gamification Software as a Service" provider that innovates, develops, and provides white-label 'Games' as an 'Audience Marketing & Engagement Solution' ("G.A.M.E.S.") to both endemic and non-endemic sports/esports stakeholders.

We believe that spectating sports/esports ought to be an interactive, engaging and empowering experience that converts the passive spectator into an active audience by enabling fans to participate, and to feel included and involved, in the epic moments during the course of a live match.

Our approach, through our G.A.M.E.S., is to "Gamify Audience Spectatorship and Consumption" to enable stakeholders to better connect, activate, engage, grow, and monetize their audiences through an authentic and meaningful consumption experience.

In practical terms, our G.A.M.E.S. are provided via an experiential platform (desktop/mobile), which is developed with our patented proprietary gamification software, that is "white-labeled" specifically for our clients.

The core feature of the platform is a "Game-Augmented Spectating Application" where users will be able to participate in contests and engage in interactive gameplay during a live sports/esports match.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a content creator intern who has a strong passion and understanding of the Esports eco-system to manage our social media accounts by working hand in hand with the marketing leads to plan and execute novel and impressive social media campaigns as a part of our user acquisition strategy.

The goal is to build a voice that is congruent with our brand identity and progressively achieve consumer engagement by creating conversations around what is relevant to our target audience.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Work alongside the marketing team to form and execute the social media and content strategy to achieve our user acquisition targets
  • Help craft our narrative message, including talking points, messaging
  • Growth social media through organic and engagement content, to work on integrated digital content campaigns, and aid in discovering influencers.
  • Participate in campaign brainstorming by gathering ideas and input from existing social and content leaders.
  • Guide social listening efforts to ensure rapid response to emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Work alongside the Marketing team to analyse and report on content performance data in order to drive continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation.
  • Develop and lead a high performing team; Manage global social media coordinator(s), from strategy and analytics to content production for match days and events
  • Deliver content that best fits business needs – from static assets, motion graphics, text, videos, live streams, etc.
  • Support the community management of our social platforms
  • Plan, schedule, post and evaluate content performance to identify areas of improvements and optimize the effectiveness of our social media strategy
  • Support the researching and reporting on social media platform best practices
  • Support the marketing department in ad-hoc tasks

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or Graduate Student with an interest in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Esports and Gaming is required.
  • High proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Photo editing and social media content creation experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital and social media practices.
  • Experience with a content management system (CMS)
  • Strong understanding of social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, & YouTube.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience in social media content and content creation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; must be able to contribute to creative writing across social media platforms.
  • Highly creative and collaborative.
