Tobii Tech's mission to make tomorrows technology even more adapted to natural human behavior is getting real. As you read this, we are integrating Tobii’s core eye tracking technology into laptops, VR and AR headsets, we are developing eye tracking functionalities for games and we are taking yet another step into the Esports arena.

Here at Tobii, you will join a software engineering department responsible for bringing Tobii technology into gaming. It is a cross-functional development team with complete product ownership. You will also collaborate with other colleagues around the world in a global context.

Every other Friday we close with “Gaming Friday” where you kick back with your colleagues and try the latest games or why not experience our latest advancements within virtual reality?

Your days will be filled with

As a software engineer, your will join a cross-functional Agile team with product ownership ranging from UX design, software development, QA, deployment and customer feedback. Initially you will probably focus solely on the development side of things, but we do not set limits and instead encourage people to extend their knowledge in our technology, products and customers.

The team works closely with game studios ranging from indie to AAA titles, integrating eye tracking based features into games. Playing those games on PC with enabled such features and Tobii eye tracker, empowers an extraordinary, immersive and more natural experience.

The team also provides software development kits for anyone with ambitions to create games and applications with eye tracking supported features.

Last but not least, the role includes some traveling! You can expect to travel about two consecutive weeks, three times a year.

We are looking for someone with:

  • 3+ years of working experience in C++ in a Microsoft Windows based environment
  • Game engines e.g. Unreal and Unity
  • Graphics programming
  • Excellent ability to design and implement solutions which are high performing, reliable and well-structured for testing and continued development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science of equivalent

If you on top of this is experienced in C#, WPF or UWP that is a big plus. If you also have knowledge in VR that is an even bigger plus!
