Responsibilities:

  • Lead the definition and implementation of quantitative and qualitative metrics and KPIs
  • Identify and manage data requirements to support high-quality analysis
  • Head the data governance for the data team: Addressing data quality issues and standards by defining the associated visibility, alerting and stakeholder notification processes
  • Drive game insights by defining in game event taxonomies and dashboards that help game managers optimize their game live events and core KPIs
  • Work with the Live Publishing, Finance and Business development teams to provide tools and reports to help with decision making
  • Collaborate with Data Leads, Data Engineers, Data Scientists to define team roadmap and strategy in collaboration with company stakeholders
  • Propose and communicate actionable results and findings based on data analysis throughout the organization
  • Work with key stakeholders to help determine what data needs to be captured to serve their needs and determine the best methodology for meeting those needs
  • Oversee development and ongoing support for systems and processes to collect, organize and analyze all historical and active data related to critical KPIs
  • Create, review and distribute regular performance reports to finance, publishing, business development and game development teams
  • Manage and groom a team of data analysts, BI analysts and data scientists, providing career oversight and mentorship
  • Performs ad hoc analysis as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in analytics and quantitative analysis roles
  • Must have data analytics experience in the video game industry
  • Experience working with large, complex and multi-dimensional data sets
  • Strong leadership and execution skills with experience building and managing high-performing teams
  • In depth experience with advanced data mining tools, such as Tableau, R, Python and with extensive SQL or Scala skills. Familiarity with Spark is a plus
  • Knowledge of data science principles like modeling and predictions.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills. Fluency in European or Asian languages a plus
  • B. A. or B. S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, and/or Engineering Sciences. Masters Degree a plus
  • Mobile gaming experience is a plus
  • Marketing/Advertising and User Acquisition experience is a plus
