Thunderful Games is a pan-European game developer and publisher. Formed by several indie companies in Sweden who joined forces, we went public in 2020 and have been inviting even more studios to our family ever since. You will be a part of a cross-functional publishing team, working with both released and upcoming games, while being a part of our journey towards a Thunderful future filled with even more ambitious titles.

As Community Manager, you will be responsible for growing and fostering a Thunderful community from the ground up. Your overall goal will be from day one to develop an environment where our fans can stay in touch with us and engage in an inclusive community about all things Thunderful.
As a Thunderful expert, you will be on the first line of communication with our fans and customers. You can listen and moderate with your strong communicative skills, and you are confident in taking the role to be the voice of the whole Thunderful team!
This position requires an EU-citizenship.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working closely with the team to develop and execute our community strategy
- Developing a quick understanding of Thunderfuls history and games to act confidently as a Thunderful expert
- First line of contact for support and feedback on all our channels
- Daily social media and Discord engagement, supporting your social media and marketing colleagues
- Developing and executing community engagement activities
- Collecting and presenting important community feedback to our internal teams
Requirements:
- Proven work in developing and managing communities
- Passion for gaming and strong knowledge of the current gaming industry
- Ability to produce creative texts and content
- Strong social media skills and expert in Discord and Reddit
- Strong understanding of the Steam community universe
- Flawless English and strong communication skills
- Ability to listen and moderate
- Living in Europe, to be able to work with your European team. Preferably Sweden or Germany
- Manners and aversion to bigotry.
Bonus points:
- Copywriting skills
- Skills in graphical design and video editing
- Additional work experience in the field of social media management
