Score Media and Gaming Inc. empowers millions of sports fans through its digital media and sports betting products. Its media app ‘theScore’ is one of the most popular in North America, delivering fans highly-personalized live scores, news, stats, and betting information from their favorite teams, leagues, and players. The Company’s sports betting app ‘theScore Bet’ delivers an immersive and holistic mobile sports betting experience and is currently available to place wagers in New Jersey, Colorado, and Indiana. Publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (SCR), theScore also creates and distributes innovative digital content through its web, social and esports platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage theScore’s information security program and ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws, rules and regulations
  • Work with leadership to establish and improve InfoSec policies, procedures and standards
  • Identify and implement security procedures and controls and find opportunities to automate monitoring
  • Respond to security and privacy related questions from users, partners, and prospective customers
  • Monitor and investigate security events and coordinate incident response activities
  • Perform risk management activities including third-party due diligence
  • Collaborate with engineering, IT and product teams to improve application and infrastructure security and compliance
  • Champion security and privacy awareness across the organization
  • Other duties as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of information security and compliance-related experience (preferably with SOC 2 and ISO 27001)
  • Experience designing, implementing and monitoring policies, standards, procedures, and controls
  • Working knowledge of security frameworks and privacy regulations (ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity, PIPEDA, PHIPA, GDPR)
  • Experience with security incident response and risk management activities
  • GLI-33 and GLI-19 is a plus
