About the Role:

Client Support

Working with the three co-founders on a cross-section of clients:

  • Being the first line of contact for regular client needs and keeping accounts organized and on track
  • Weekly/monthly activity reports, with milestones and current activities communicated through the evergreen PR tracker
  • Helping to brainstorm new and fresh stories, opportunities and collaborations for the brands we work on
  • Monitoring and tracking of media coverage and social media sentiment, and creating coverage reports for monthly and project recaps
  • Creating customized press and events lists
  • Coordinating calls and media visits

Media Relations

  • Actively research and get to know esports and mainstream writers already covering, or with the potential to cover, esports stories
  • Identify journalists and publications for exclusive stories across esports, sports, business, and financial media
  • Work with us on creative, accurate and authentic stories across a variety of of media
  • Build your own strong network of media contacts, and maintain those relationships
  • Craft unique and perfectly tailored individual pitches to relevant journalists, and follow through

Internal Business Development

  • Brainstorm creative ideas for new and current clients, and work on visualizing and describing them in proposals, decks and during client briefings
  • Create decks and proposals for new business prospects and help research new targets and potential partners
  • Help oversee the new client on-boarding process

You have a passion for or are willing to become interested in esports.Whether you’re an esports fan with mad organizational skills or an existing PR pro looking to learn more about the world of esports, we’d be excited to talk to you. Role requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related fields (Communication, Public Relations, Marketing)
  • Min. 3 years of experience in communication management and/or public relations, either in-house or on an agency-side
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English, another European language is a big plus!
  • MASSIVE passion for esports and sports
  • Understanding of (international) media landscape - bonus points for bringing in your own media list
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to drive projects all the way
  • Rigorous, detail-oriented self starter, who is able to work independently
  • Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel internationally, as required
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills; verbal and written
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, basic Photoshop skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, with fast-moving deadlines in a constantly changing environment
