The Senior Manager, Information Security Engineering and Operations is responsible for leading the operational team of The Pokémon Company International’s (TPCi) Information Security Department. This role oversees engineers and architects in the development and implementation of security standards and controls. This role ensures solutions meet the business needs of the enterprise, align with security and regulatory policy, and protect the data of our employees and customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and mentor a team of talented and passionate Information Security Engineers and Architects.
  • Plan the Information Security roadmap and strategy to identify gaps in security posture and drive the implementation of risk remediation initiatives and projects.
  • Partner with teams across the Technology organization and the enterprise to drive security practices and results.
  • Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Security Engineering and Operations team.
  • Develop and oversee program efforts around Application Security, Incident Management, and Cloud/Infrastructure Security.
  • Ensure security requirements are integrated into application development, data management, and cloud/infrastructure management processes.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Information Security standards, as well as security capabilities and tools to mitigate security risk.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years in Information Security program leadership and personnel management.
  • 10+ years of relevant technical experience, with the majority of this in a formalized information security team.
  • Strong background in technical engineering and architecture, such as infrastructure/cloud engineering or software development.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships and collaboration between stakeholder teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to outline security risks to senior leadership.
  • Experience managing security vendors and managed services providers.
  • Strong experience in Incident Management, SOC management, and Incident Response planning.
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and/or equivalent working experience.
  • Information Security certifications (CISSP, SANS GIAC, CISA, etc.) a plus.

What to Expect

Ability to work flexible hours as required for key initiatives or in support of business units is a must. Travel between office locations internationally may be required on occasion, with occasional domestic travel as needed.
