Summary of the Role

The Pokémon Company International is embarking on an innovation journey and radically transforming its digital commerce capabilities to meet accelerating international demand for original Pokémon products, while continuing to provide best-in-class user experience. We are looking for a senior Optimization & A/B Testing Specialist to join our team!
In this role, you'll enjoy a fast-paced environment, keen on new ideas and supportive of strategic change. You'll work autonomously and with a high level of responsibility, but also as part of a tight-knit and collaborative team, focused on the same goals.

This role will lead our optimization & A/B testing program and will establish our optimization roadmap across all Pokémon Center properties. This role will also be responsible for driving customer experience improvements, measurable KPI improvements and alignment with business goals, internal stakeholders and external resources. By working cross-functionally with multiple teams (Design, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, Development, BI, external vendors) this role will supervise the timely and successful execution of optimization campaigns, including pre- and post-campaign data analysis, set-up and maintenance of campaigns and reporting of results to stakeholders. The ideal candidate exhibits curiosity and initiative, has a passion for UX optimization & testing and can demonstrate an advanced technical and analytical skill set. A successful candidate will grow the optimization program in volume and complexity, will foster a data & test-driven culture and deliver tangible results.

What You Will Do

  • Lead Pokémon Center's optimization & A/B testing program
  • Champion an approach of continuous improvement through optimization & testing
  • Manage optimization campaigns end-to-end (design, build, validation, execution & reporting)
  • Conduct test results analysis and provide helpful context and interpretation of results
  • Maintain and prioritize an optimization roadmap based on business goals, level of effort and expected revenue & traffic outcomes
  • Collaborate & ideate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for UX & KPI improvements
  • Document and regularly communicate updates, insights and test progress to stakeholders
  • Own the relationship with our dedicated testing solution regarding on-going platform support, allocation of development hours, quarterly business reviews…
  • Collaborate with technical resources to support campaign development, feature releases and site deployments

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in optimization & A/B testing
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Proven success in an optimization role and passion for customer experience optimization
  • Proficiency with optimization and testing tools like Monetate, SiteSpect, Google Optimize, Optimizely, Adobe Target…
  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and analysis to support hypothesis testing, provide recommendations, and drive actions; experience with extracting and interpreting data from analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Amplitude…
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS
  • Ability to clearly communicate with, and bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders
  • Dedication to quality & attention to detail
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Team player, open minded to different cross functional teams’ views and seeking input and alignment across teams
  • Curiosity and resourcefulness to identify opportunities & pain points to be resolved through strategic optimization.
  • Nice to Have - Experience using a tag management system & a data layer implementation to support web analytics needs

What to Expect
