The Sr. Client Engineer at The Pokémon Company International will drive creativity and quality for specific titles in the Pokémon franchise. You’ll work and guide others’ work on live products with the potential to impact 10s of millions of customers upon launch.

What You Will Do

  • Be an example of proactive problem-solving, by designing framework systems, and creating processes for production application deployment.
  • Partner with multiple disciplines to optimize asset pipeline for a live product and implement gameplay features and mechanics.
  • Actively participate in scheduling and sprint planning while collaborating with colleagues in production and test.
  • Build features in a way that enables easy testing during development, with thorough prototyping in continuous integration systems.
  • With a highly collaborative team, you will prototype, design, and develop clean code with your expertise of Unity’s testing, debugging, UI, and profiling systems.
  • Mentor others by providing the what’s and how’s to more junior members on the team.

What You Will Bring

  • 6+ years in a game development role.
  • 3+ years of experience with mobile game development, with at least one shipped mobile Unity title in a senior or leadership position.
  • Experience with online social game systems and games with live development.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and present multiple solutions.
  • Knowledge of live and networked games.
  • BSCS, BSEE, or equivalent years of work experience
