Get to know the role

Job Title: Project Manager

Job Summary: The Project Manager will focus on managing the development and localization of TCG projects from conception to production. This position will act as the central point of contact across a cross functional team to provide streamlined communication and optimized schedules with a focus on continual process improvement.

What you’ll do

Schedules

  • Create, launch, and manage end to end project schedules for all TCG projects from project initiation through project completion
  • Streamline processes and implement improvements across both live schedules and templates
  • Maintain consistent schedule templates

Communication

  • Act as a central point of contact for cross functional teams to drive communication regarding project information, milestones, updates, changes, delays, etc.
  • Schedule and facilitate cross functional team meetings to convey updates, resolve issues, complete project postmortems

Project Management

  • Responsible for day to day Project Management of all schedules/tasks to ensure on time project completion
  • Point person to remove roadblocks preventing task completion by investigating issues, creating solutions, negotiating across teams, updating live schedules and communicating new plans from project initiation through project completion
  • Actively employ risk management strategies to anticipate and resolve issues in advance

Process

  • Create new processes and process documentation as needed
  • Implement post-mortem process including data collection, meeting facilitation, issue resolution, new process implementation, and communication to upper management
  • Partner with Manager to compile project data as requested to support new initiatives to increase visibility of product development process
  • Continuously optimize existing processes, and proactively innovate/implement new processes to increase efficiency, not only for internal PM team processes, but cross functionally as applies to the overall product development process

General

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships across the business units and all levels of the organization.
  • Build trust with team members and drive the product development process to successful project completion.

What you’ll bring

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of related professional experience.
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • General understanding of brand identity, product design and print development process.
  • Passion for and knowledge of entire gaming industry.
  • Experience in Project Management software such as MS Project or Workfront (preferred).
  • Experience in entertainment/gaming, Trading Card Games (TCG) experience (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PMP preferred and/or desire to get certified
