The Organized Play Professor Program Specialist supports the efforts of The Pokémon Company International’s Organized Play (OP) programs by ensuring that the global network of Professors is motivated, well-trained, and has access to the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively execute OP programs worldwide.

What You Will Do

  • Ideate, implement, and execute annual programs that celebrate, educate, and promote the growth of the Professor Program and the Organized Play community
  • Develop training programs and materials focused on improving the contribution of Professors to OP program successes
  • Develop and implement processes to encourage and facilitate the sharing of knowledge between members of the program
  • Manage all rules documentation and ensure it remains up to date
  • Manage all aspects of Professor onboarding
  • Develop and manage all program support materials including rewards inventory
  • Direct and supervise the performance of Professor teams onsite at select Organized Play events

What You Will Bring

  • 3 years’ experience developing and managing Judge or similar programs developing brand/program expertise
  • 2 years’ experience in program management/development
  • Existing knowledge/experience of Play! Pokémon programs
  • Experience with technical writing and document management
  • Experience managing large scale (10,000 or more) evangelist networks
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ relevant industry experience in eSports or similar program

What to Expect

We offer a professional, fun and creative work environment. While we maintain a good balance between work and life, additional hours may be required at peak times or for specific initiatives. This role will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and must be willing and able to work non-standard work shifts, including evenings, overnight, holidays, and weekends. Travel between TPCi offices, retail locations, and various trade shows/events will be required on occasion (Up to 25%). This may include international travel.
