This role will support various art design-related localization of Pokémon TCG (Trading Card Game) products, with the potential to support other projects, and will facilitate and guide the development & implementation of all aspects of these projects from inception through cross-team involvement to delivery.
What You Will Do
- Serve as focal point and primary coordinator for all aspects of bilingual project management specifically for the art design for Pokémon TCG related projects
- Manage any project management issues that arise by investigating, resolving or escalating them when necessary
- Seek to optimize and simplify processes as with a focus on continual improvement
- Manage schedules for a wide variety of aspects of the project within a cross-functional group environment
- Liaison between many different groups including R&D, Translation & Editing, Design, Production to bring all aspects of the project under a single umbrella of coordination
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships across the business units and all levels of the organization
- Provide translation of documents, emails and presentations both in Japanese and English
What You Will Bring
- 1-3 years of project coordination experience with a proven ability to drive results; action oriented and problem solve
- Ability to understand, interpret, translate and communicate company business plans, strategy and objectives to our parent company in Japan
- Bilingual with excellent writing, speaking and presenting skills in both Japanese and English.
- General understanding of brand identity, product design and print development process
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint., Adobe Suite
- Passion for and knowledge of entire gaming industry
- Experience in entertainment/gaming, Trading Card Games (TCG) experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent working experience
- Demonstrated working knowledge of conservative Japanese culture and customs in the workplace
