CX3 Gaming Ambassadors will drive interest and enthusiasm with customers in the new CX3 Experience Gaming area at The LINQ Hotel & Casino. CX3 Ambassadors will actively seek out and engage customers by promoting the Virtual Reality (VR) experience, eSports, Arcade games and encouraging trial of new games and technology. CX3 Ambassadors will be responsible for explaining and assisting customers, not only with the experiential gaming, but also with downloads of apps, such as PlayLINQ and Play by CR. They will also be required to promote the benefits of joining Caesars Rewards, the award-winning player loyalty program of Caesars Entertainment (formerly Total Rewards), enrolling new members, and assisting current members, with questions about the program and/or their account.

CX3 Ambassadors will work under the direction of the Slot Department management team. The ideal candidates will have outstanding interpersonal skills with a strong blend of customer service experience and confidence in working with technology. Candidates will be required to be knowledgeable about advances in VR, Arcade, eSports, Technological and Skill-based games with emphasis on their application in Gaming.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Generate excitement for our CX3 Experiential area and games by enthusiastically engaging guests and encouraging trial of games.
  • Explain in detail how to play or engage in each CX3 offering to include but not limited to Virtual Reality, Arcade games, eSports, Skilled based games.
  • Communicate with guests who are walking by the venue on Las Vegas Blvd, LinQ Promenade or on Casino Floor to draw them into the space.
  • Celebrate wins with players.
  • Assist guests with load-in and load-out of Virtual Reality, including cleaning headsets and other gear in between use.
  • Assist guests with reservations, booking, and payments for Virtual Reality or other CX3 experiences.
  • Tour guests around CX3 offerings providing brief explanation of each experience.
  • Alert the appropriate team members when there are technical problems with games which are outside a CX3 Ambassadors scope of responsibility, and troubleshoot issues with vendors, as appropriate.
  • Enforce Project 21 policy and procedures by monitoring area for underage gamblers.
  • Solicit and Enroll players in Caesars Rewards, Caesars Rewards App, PlayLINQ, Play by CR and Caesars Rewards Visa
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 or older with ability to possess Nevada Gaming Card and Alcohol Awareness Card.
  • Must pass background check.
  • Must pass drug test.
  • Must pass mandatory Regulatory Slot Department training.
  • Previous customer service experience with the proven ability to provide courteous, friendly and efficient service to guests.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Must be able to keep aware of the constant changes and enhancements of the Caesars Rewards program and its benefits.
  • Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customers’ demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous commission or sales experience preferred.
  • Must have an outgoing personality and be able to generate business.
  • Gamer and Virtual Reality knowledge preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to stay motivated and energetic throughout your shift.
  • Computer skills including operating hardware, software, and other technical equipment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to appreciate and be friendly with all LINQ employees who are of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.
  • Able to accept direction of Senior leadership.

Physical, Mental, And Environmental demands

  • Able to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform job.
  • Available to work any shift, holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to tolerate cigarette/cigar smoke and e-cigarette vapor.
  • Ability to tolerate the smell and residue of cleaning products used in work and back of house areas.
  • Responds to visual and aural cues.
  • Must have manual dexterity to be able to operate the following equipment: computer, telephone, photo copy machine, fax machine, ten key, embosser, printer and bar encoder.
  • Must be able to use and wear two-way radio w/ earpiece, and other equipment, as required.
  • Able to tolerate a loud and noisy environment.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Able to sit, stoop, reach and bend.
  • Able to lift 20 pounds.
