SENIOR DIRECTOR, MARKETING

BAND: Senior Leadership

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE: Salary + Bonus + Equity

LOCATION: Remote (North America)

TRAVEL: Quarterly travel to Vancouver, BC (Head Office)

TGS Esports is looking for a creative and innovative people leader that is passionate about marketing and gaming. We want to talk to you if you are an energetic digital marketing guru that can help us grow our reach and develop stronger relationships with gamers across North America. The ideal candidate is results-oriented and has a history of executing successful campaigns and will deliver powerful programs for our Marketing Partners.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Building + Campaign Development:

  • You will have the unique opportunity to lead a re-brand plus build and launch a campaign for our new tournament platform
  • Support with campaign development for our Marketing Partners
  • Build relationships with gaming communities and Content Creators

Communications + Community Growth

  • You will develop our social and content strategies across our channels including Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok
  • Grow our community of gamers through strategic partnerships
  • Develop and manage annual budgets to increase our market reach

Strategy + Leadership

  • You will be a part of the Senior Leadership Team, helping make decisions affecting the direction of the organization
  • Uncover insights and strategies based on primary and secondary research
  • Lead our growing Marketing & Community Growth department (6 direct reports)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of Marketing experience including brand work
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team
  • Sports marketing or agency experience is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications; MBA preferred
  • Experience with digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to manage a budget and allocate resources appropriately and creatively
  • Advanced understanding of market research and extracting business intelligence from data
