Arcadia is the world's first sports platform that combines Esports with real athletics. Instead of avatars, athletes use their bodies as controllers inside competitive video games in front of live interactive audiences. Arcadia is creating a new category in sports unlike anything athletes or audiences have experienced before: SuperSports
To introduce a new category of sports, and a new breed of athlete to the world, Arcadia will build and engage its fanbase with frequent video and social content - and the Head of Marketing & Growth is critical in this effort. This role is responsible for growing and forming a long-lasting relationship with our fanbase, ensuring we’re always top-of-mind through consistent posting. The ideal candidate is up for the challenge of leveraging best practices to drive strong organic growth with our target GenZ and Millennial audience and building the Arcadia community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take the leadership role in our content marketing strategy, planning, execution, optimization, and measurement/reporting to hit Arcadia’s ambitious audience acquisition and retention goals.
- Devise and execute our social media and video content strategy across all channels (ie: Youtube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook etc.) to reach and retain our target audience.
- Full ownership over all social media and video accounts, posts, and the content calendar, while ensuring all communications with our fanbase are in Arcadia’s voice.
- Own the planning, coordination and marketing for Arcadia community games & tournaments.
- Work closely with our Lead Videographer to ensure the necessary video content is created.
- Work with a web developer to lead our website content strategy.
- Build out Arcadia’s Marketing & Growth function from the ground up.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- 4-6 years of experience in content marketing; preferably at a company that leverages primarily video content
- At least 2+ years of professionally managing and posting on multiple social media accounts
- Experience marketing directly to GenZ and Millenials.
- Strong knowledge of the best practices on major social & video channels including Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook etc.
- Experience with digital & social marketing programs including: digital production, social media behavior, digital targeting, research & analytics
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team environment.
- The ideal candidate will be organized, able to work and coordinate on multiple projects while communicating with the team to meet goals.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
