We are offering a fantastic opportunity for QA Analysts that have experience in the games industry. Along with industry experience, a passion for games is required!

As a QA Analyst at Testronic, you will gain award-winning game testing skills as well as valuable experience and insight into how video games are made. Our teams are dedicated to inspiring quality, in order to facilitate the great gaming moments that sealed our fates as gamers.

The position you are applying for is an office-based role. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this role will be remote-based and you will be supplied with the relevant equipment to carry out your role from home. For logistic purposes, candidates will be required to live within commuting distance of New Orleans, and within Louisiana. Updates and instructions on returning to the office will be given when appropriate.

About this role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, create, and execute test plans and suites that protect the player
  • Report issues, results, and status of your area of responsibility
  • Constantly communicate through several platforms including bug databases, sprint boards, chat, etc.
  • Collaborate with remote teams globally, including developers
  • Develop lasting partnerships with clients and build new responsibilities for the team to learn and own
  • Capture qualitative feedback to help players have a voice and to escalate design that will foster negative player experiences
  • Help continuously improve and innovate the processes, team, partnership, and Testronic
  • Investigate and research player issues to help isolate and identify root cause
  • Participate in playtests and/or beta releases
  • Collaborate and assist with onboarding and mentorship of team members.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a QA environment as an Analyst
  • Strong interest in video games
  • Familiarity with basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, PC setup)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experienced using a variety of different bug databases
  • Familiarity with a variety of online test management systems
  • Knowledge of and experience with QA submission requirements testing (compliance)
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, chat, video-con)
  • Ability to maintain several tasks effectively while under pressure and under deadlines
  • Willing to occasionally work long hours with short notice
  • Experience with leading QA teams
