Responsibility

• Participate in Tencent Games investment projects to perform investment analysis and carry out project executions including but not limited to conducting Due Diligence, building financial models, performing valuation analysis, drafting investment reports, and providing investment suggestions;
• Oversee trends of global gaming market with particular focus on R&D, distribution,
• operation, and platform, follow movements and next-steps of major competitors and important partners, keep track of latest trends of game industry;
• Explore new business models and additional business opportunities, identify and analyze potential business partners, provide management team with decision-making and operational support;
• Clearly present and communicate investment opportunities, identify and discuss key drivers of value and provide research results to verify hypothesis;
• Manage business operations, promote business decision implementation, oversee progress of strategic projects and push for in-time project execution;
• Maintain a strong network with gaming industry ecosystem of key gaming investors and industry analysts (VC/PE/i-banking) for regular heads up on upcoming transactions and industry updates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Passionate about game industry, must be a gamer;
• Ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in top-tier global investment bank/ PE/ VC in TMT sector coverage (exposure to gaming market is preferred)
• Strong financial skills required, including but not limited to financial modeling, solid understanding of three financial statements and valuation analysis and good understanding of full execution process of a deal;
• Efficient in execution and preparation of high-quality analytical output;
• Fluent in English;
