Lead Game Artist

  • Manage the whole art creativity, concept design and art quality, provide creative design ideas for game art based on game story;
  • Define, hold and drive the project’s artistic vision in line with the overall creative direction for the game;
  • Ensure the artists have clear benchmarks for asset production;
  • Create a unified and consistent visual style for the game;
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality art assets; provide suggestions and inspiration for the art team.


  • 10+ years of experience in concept art design in game or film industries;
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in the video game industry; 2 years of Art Direction experience, especially realistic art style;
  • Must have shipped a minimum of 1-2 AAA games;
  • Good Knowledge of Photoshop and 3D software (e.g. 3DS Max); Master in realistic art style;
  • Ability to revise the work done by others and suggest improvements if necessary;
  • Outstanding creativity and design capability, qualified to lead the breakthrough of art team in the fields of art innovation and concept design;
  • Excellent artistic judgement with international mindset;
  • Be active and highly self-motivated in responsible design work;
  • Understanding of art fundamentals and artistic culture;
  • Great communication (in both Chinese & English) and presentation skills combined with a positive attitude;
  • Natural curiosity and creativity with the ability to explore new ideas and learn from others.
