Job description
- Oversee all finance and accounting aspects of Tencent Group’s Singapore Union operations for but no limited to the Mobile Gaming and Cloud business unit,currently in the Singapore with potential for expansion
- Handle full set of accounts, including preparation of monthly closing, financial and management reporting to China Head office.
- Drive the budgeting preparation and forecasting process, and liaise with various business partners to ensure timeliness, reasonableness and accuracy
- Provide financial analysis and insight to support business decision making for local operation
- Monitor funding and cashflow position while ensuring efficient usage of funds
- Review and streamline financial controls in line with Group policies
- Ensure compliance to local tax filing and reporting requirements
- Support accounting and financial systems implementation and enhancements
- Other ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned
Job requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting or related discipline; Graduate Degree is an advantage
- Professional accountancy qualification
- 7+ years of relevant work experience; 2+ years in managerial role
- Working knowledge of tax regimes and statutory requirements in the Singapore
- Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Review and streamline financial controls in line with company policies
- Ability to manage priorities while working under pressure and tight deadlines
- Periodic traveling to China Head office
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
