About the Role

Performance Marketing Manager - Western Europe will have the opportunity to be part of a newly formed team in Western Europe, supporting mobile growth by driving our UA and re-targeting programmes and capabilities. You will carry out due diligence on current UA actions and strategies, use the latest ad tech on data-driven media buying and collaborate with many cross-functional teams across Tencent HQ to contribute to the growth of the business.

Main duties will involve:

  • Work with multiple internal stakeholders, including player insights, marketing, operations, and community leads from other territory clusters, execute user acquisition, re-targeting and digital media buying aligned with the marketing/creative strategy.
  • Deconstruct and optimise media performance within the WEU region and product user funnels, working with key WEU and HQ organisation stakeholders.
  • Own and oversee how assets are deployed and optimized through media for multiple products in the WEU region.
  • Seek, test, and evaluate new advertising channels/partners based on competitive and market intelligence.
  • Optimise channel and campaign performance by owning ROAS, LTV, and ARPU core KPIs.
  • Embed yourself with the regional HQ team to identify new opportunities acrossthe portfolio and share best practice across the product teams and other regions.
  • Travel regularly to central London to meet with the entire regional team for Tencent Western Europe.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, user acquisition and media buying.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage ambiguous situations.
  • Proven experience in data analysis experience and tools.
  • A passion for mobile, pc and console games.
  • Experience creating and managing campaigns across social channels, ad networks, programmatic media buying and DSPs in mobile gaming, tech or SaaS environment.
  • Understanding of streaming & knowledge of e-sports.
  • A valid passport and willingness to travel regularly to London.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Direct experience in a mobile mid-core gaming environment.
  • Previous experience operating within a new team or startup environment.
