This role is responsible for the execution and delivery of best in class video editing for the Minecraft franchise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to produce a wide variety of video and still projects including video game trailers and other creative marketing work.
- Review, understand and translate requirements outlined in a marketing brief into a final video asset.
- Create flexible video-based assets to support the Minecraft franchise roadmap on more than 30+ channels.
- Execute all aspects of DLC game trailer production in partnership with Art Directors, creative teams, and marketing stakeholders.
- Review large TB of gameplay and edit gameplay capture per marketing brief and stakeholder feedback via multiple approval rounds.
- Develop all digital storefront game trailer variants and still assets.
- QA all assets during production, handoff, and publishing of digital storefronts.
- Develop social marketing videos based on brand guidelines / standards / video specifications.
- Develop partner branded videos to brand guidelines / standards / video specifications.
- Finish master videos to brand guidelines / standards / game specifications.
- Leverage templates and set brand principles to create and/or modify artwork assets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 yearsโ experience in the marketing or entertainment industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Video Production preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates quality editing, motion design and graphic design.
- Strong skills in all aspects of motion design, animation, and video editing.
- Knowledge of modern video editing, delivery, and compression techniques.
- Strong skills in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere.
- Bonus: Background in an Agency, Advertising or Game Studio.
- Bonus: Background/interest in the video game industry.
- Bonus skills: Soundtrack design, VFX and 3D animation.
