Ten Gun Design is a full-service creative agency that combines smart design, innovation, and agility to engage audiences in compelling ways. We are looking for someone who will work as a part of our Managed Services team supporting the Xbox Subscriptions group. We are looking for someone that will help bring operational excellence to the ongoing development and evolution of demand generation and brand awareness efforts for subscription services, particularly Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold.

We are ideally looking for someone with life-cycle marketing experience that can help develop and manage projects involving and pertaining to our global media marketing campaigns, which drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement. The marketing manager will be expected to collaborate and partner closely with internal teams and external agencies to create, develop and execute world class gaming marketing campaigns whilst maintaining brand consistency as well as corroborating and finalizing creative product execution, successfully representing both Microsoft and partners’ brand cohesively. Furthermore, the manager will work to ensure all global campaigns are optimized to include and show up evenly across our key owned and operated channels.

Responsibilities

The role will have responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Development of marketing campaign in concert with a variety of internal and external partners
  • Development of campaign brief that clearly articulates strategy, vision, and direction for the campaign
  • Development of campaign toolkits that provide messaging and creative guidance
  • Development of work backs, process and procedure to enable seamless and coordinated execution of marketing campaigns across channels
  • Integration with key business stakeholders to ensure campaigns land in the organization and are executed appropriately
  • Development and management of cross-team communication vehicles to track progress on key milestones and accountabilities to ensure on-time, on-budget execution of marketing campaigns
  • Thinking forward to multi-task and manage current executions, while planning 4-6 months out for future campaigns
  • Actively monitoring marketing performance and proactively addressing areas for improvement and standardization in our marketing go-to-market approach
  • Participate in Creative Lead activities, to ensure creative development aligns with overall campaign strategy and direction
  • Provide weekly metrics of success on business and highlight key issues as appropriate.
  • Regular presentations to business team, internal partners, and others to expose new key learnings and recommendations.
  • Work continuously to improve overall marketing collateral library.
  • Perform ad-hoc marketing support as assigned

Qualifications

To succeed in this exciting, demanding, and highly engaged role and business, candidates should be able to meet the following:

  • Have a strong foundation in project management including the ability to lead, organize and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously
  • Have experience working successfully with cross-functional teams in a large and complex corporate environment
  • Manage the work of external creative agencies, including creating briefs, and managing review cycles and work-back schedules to ensure that content deadlines are met
  • Operate in a very detail-oriented fashion - the ability to manage and keep track of multiple work-streams and processes aggressively
  • Excellent editorial (PowerPoint) abilities especially outlining new processes, summarizing campaign results, editing and proofreading in general with focused attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills – the ability to partner and closely collaborate across teams and agencies

  • Experience with digital marketing campaign (strategy & content production), content marketing and performance measurement

Work Experience Qualifications:

  • Two to five years marketing experience
  • Two to five years digital marketing experience
  • Two to five years working in B2C business (preferably gaming or entertainment)
  • A background working in gaming as a service or subscription services
  • Marketing communications experience is a plus
  • Candidates should demonstrate strong communications skills, sound knowledge of project management, genuine interest in industry trends and an ability to forge strong internal and external -relationships
