Your daily tasks:
- comprehensive testing of 3D assets created in the Characters and Weapons team and by external partners incl.:
- checking technical requirements (PBR, polycount, naming convention, etc.)
- ensuring that the assets are correctly organized in our engine and are added to the game as designed
- testing the visuals, animations and interactions of the assets with the game world from player's perspective
- bug handling and supporting team members' work with the bug tracker (Jira) and assisting them with debugging or ad hoc testing,
- implementing minor fixes,
- maintaining test cases for 3D assets,
- ensuring the information flow and proper test coverage in overlapping areas and raising potential risks to the Producer and QA and Art Leads,
- organizing game playing session with the team (once every two weeks) and preparing the summary of it,
- exploratory tests of Quests and Open World with a focus on characters and used presets.
You meet our expectations if you have:
- a minimum 3 years of experience in testing video games, preferably AAA,
- experience in testing 3D assets,
- knowledge of 3D modelling software and understanding the 3D asset production pipeline,
- ability to analyze and process data,
- thoroughness, proactivity and focus on completing all objectives,
- excellent communication skills,
- very good knowledge of the gaming industry (and actively playing games),
- good command of English.
