We wouldn't be able to make the games that we do, without our team of inhouse testers. QA are the gatekeepers of games development, providing an essential service to make sure that the games we release to our communities maintain the high quality bar that has become expected from a Team 17 release.

We are looking to grow our first QA team into Manchester, so are on the search for ambitious, impassioned and driven QA Analysts who can join a new studio and be a part of first release from Team 17 Manchester, playing an active role in setting the quality bar for all future releases by the studio.

Responsibilities

  • Testing games to destruction to find and document any and all defects
  • Compiling a list of defects or any issues of design or implementation during a testing cycle
  • Identifying and articulating problem areas within a game
  • Working to a set test plan that will be bespoke for each game
  • Participating in game reviews and evaluations to measure the functionality of a game against its design specification
  • Working side-by-side with development teams to track issues and provide any help to assist in the remedy of any defects
  • Maintaining a positive atmosphere in the testing department
