2020 was a breakthrough year for Team 17 with the launch of 12 games across our Games Label and own IP and we aren’t stopping there. With huge growth plans afoot, bringing onboard dynamic, inventive and impassioned Teamsters is central to our success.

We are looking for a savvy Influencer Relations and Community Manager to build influencer strategy across Team 17 products, identifying both existing and upcoming talent, whilst acting as an ambassador across all of our titles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage influencer strategy across Team17 products, from identification to implementation
  • Build strong influencer relationships and identify potential talent to help shape our approach to influencer marketing
  • Work closely with the PR & Events Lead and Digital Marketing Manager on paid strategy and ensure aligned to organic/partner activities
  • Track influencer activity and provide analysis and recommendations to the brand and management teams to inform future marketing activity
  • Organise and manage stream and video activities on owned and partner channels with key influencer partners to promote Team17 games
  • Work alongside the PR team to improve and develop influencer gifting selection and purchase process
  • Accountability for the overall success of Team17’s influencer campaigns
  • Support up and coming content creators, encourage advocacy in line with Team17’s values and nurture for long-lasting relationships
  • Maintain strong relationships with influencers and agencies in multiple territories
  • Plan and implement non-paid influencer and full community campaigns for select Team17 titles and be a champion of how influencer and community can elevate/support other key tactics/activities within overall marketing campaigns
  • Organise and host livestreams in line with community campaign plans
  • Collecting and presenting important community feedback to our internal production team and external developer partners throughout campaigns and help identify key areas of focus to improve engagement, retention and widen appeal
  • Work closely with internal development, marketing and sales teams, as well as external partners to coordinate influencer/community led projects and ensure deadlines are met
  • Work as a liaison with external partners, ensuring strong relationships are built and maintained
  • Day-to-day social media and forum management, acting as the Team17 representative on our products and first point of contact for our players
  • Offer support and mentorship to the junior members of the Community Team and help advance their understanding of Influencer marketing and relations
  • Advise on strengths/weaknesses in games that will encourage/discourage Influencer engagement and suggest opportunities that could be integrated into the game development to increase Influencer appeal
  • Attending consumer and media events within the UK or overseas as required as an ambassador for Team17 and our products
  • Act as ambassador to our titles internally and online in our communities, quickly developing an in-depth understanding of all Team17 products

Requirements

  • An unquenchable passion for video games, their development, with an expert understanding of the current video games industry
  • A solid understanding of influencer marketing and the content creator space within video games with demonstrable experience of influencer relations and community management experience
  • Proven experience of working with influencers across social media, including but not limited to: YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook Gaming
  • Experience of livestream production and presentation
  • Ability to track, measure and feedback on social analytics, quickly adapt plans or approaches to ensure campaigns deliver the best results possible, and identify key learnings for the future
  • Experience creating engaging social media content
  • Working knowledge of photo and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro)
  • Must have the ability to think on their feet and work under their own initiative with a can-do, solution focused attitude
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to build effective, collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders
