2020 was a breakthrough year for Team 17 with the launch of 12 games across our Games Label and own IP and we aren’t stopping there. With huge growth plans afoot, bringing onboard dynamic, inventive and savvy Teamsters is central to our success.

We are looking for an impassioned Creative Marketing Manager to join us, leading a best-in-class Creative team of video editors and artists whilst getting hands on with the creation of trailers, assets and key art to take our games to market.

Creative Leadership

  • Responsible for ensuring that the Creative Marketing team is working efficiently and expertly to support the wider commercial division.
  • Take ownership as Team Lead for the recruitment, mentoring, development and training of members of the Creative Marketing team.
  • Providing full management support to the team; this includes objective setting, performance reviews, supporting the professional development of team members and general line management responsibilities.
  • Managing the workflow of the Creative Marketing team, efficiently prioritising the work and providing realistic timelines to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the Branding (Product Marketing) and studio Art teams to ensure that work is correctly prioritised to meet deadlines across all projects.
  • Agreeing and upholding processes and standards of practice within the Creative Marketing team, building a plan to ensure that the department is set to succeed and able to support the business both immediately and with its long-term growth aspirations in mind.
  • Management of any external resource when required (freelancers, agencies etc.) including SLAs and approvals

Senior Video Editor

  • Take responsibility as a subject matter expert within the business, offering guidance and advice to colleagues throughout the business.
  • Capturing compelling in-game footage for multi-purpose use across multiple platforms
  • Creating engaging and enticing trailers and video content for current and upcoming games and promotions
  • Taking and interpreting briefs, using your creative flare to identify inventive routes to market
  • Working with both internal and external partner studios to deliver vision for all creative assets as well as marketing purpose
  • Setting the technical standard, providing mentorship to level up the team, ensuring they feel supported and on track to develop their own skills
  • Delivering best in class service to key stakeholders, on time, in full

What are we looking for in you?

  • Previous experience leading a team
  • Strong background in video editing, with a portfolio to back it up
  • Experience capturing in-game footage across PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Switch
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects (Element 3D)
  • Working knowledge of metadata export settings for platform specific trailers
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to build effective, collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Meticulous in your approach with an eye for detail
  • An ambitious edge with a desire to step into a more strategic role in the future
  • Project management experience to effectively manage the workflow, able to delegate work effectively to offer opportunities to your team
