2020 has been a breakthrough year for Team 17, having acquired a new development studio and shipped multiple titles already with many new game IPs to come.

We are looking for a Build Engineer to join our development team and help to support our Games Label partners. Your main focus will be developing and supporting the internal continuous integration system used for all our projects, liaising with the teams and ensuring that the system meets the requirements of delivering regular builds to QA and release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the build system
  • Writing tooling to improve the build and deploy pipeline (in the language of your choice)
  • Write integrations between tools
  • Analysing the game production pipeline from dev to release to identify areas of improvement
  • Work with Production, Developers, and QA to identify their pain points
  • Manage code deploys to web platforms (Steam, Epic Games Store, GoG)
  • Provide developer support for building cod

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins, TeamCity, Buildbot or other)
  • Knowledge of CICD
  • Experience with at least one programming language (C#, Java, Python)
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to explain technical solutions clearly and concisely
  • Experience with at least one source control tool (Preferably Perforce)
  • Proactive attitude for identifying bottlenecks in processes and proposing new solutions
