  • Set and mark assessed work throughout the course that has been produced by the students
  • Help set expectations with students and help to manage their progress through the course
  • Build productive, professional relationships with the students that engage and inspire them
  • Work with the whole staff team to make sure the course is run in a successful way
  • Support other staff in ensuring the students can work to overcome barriers they experience

About Team Norse Thunder

Team Norse Thunder is a social enterprise that uses the power of games to help young people fight social isolation and loneliness and all the issues they can lead to. We work to help young people have fun and make friends as they play games, and our esports teams and community events all aim to help people build up their social and soft skills.

The Academy program has been specially developed to help young people achieve the Maths and English qualifications that they might have missed out on at school, as well as earning the L2 Certificate in Esports, and giving them valuable work experience opportunities that run alongside the course. With relationships built with local colleges and training providers, the program looks to help the students progress through into an esports career.
