Team Liquid is growing rapidly and we are looking to add a Recruiter to our People & Culture team to help us in our quest for talent. In this position we are specifically looking for a tech savvy Recruiter who has some experience in recruiting and sourcing IT/Tech talent.

Team Liquid is currently competing in over 17 different esports titles. We’re well on our way to help shape the world of esports, all thanks to our incredible fans, athletes, influencers, content creators, Liquid+, and Liquipedia (the world’s most extensive esports wiki). As our business continues its hockey stick growth, we need the right people to sustain and accelerate us on that trajectory. The Recruiter has a pivotal role to play in achieving this by partnering closely with our hiring managers and recruitment team to find, qualify, and usher in these new members of the Team Liquid family.

In particular, for our fan engagement platform Liquid+ we are looking to further build out the development team. This means we will be looking for a number of new team members across different kinds of roles. They can be located anywhere in the world, assuming they can work with American or European time zones. For reference: since this time last year the team behind Liquid+ has grown from ~15 (5 developers) to ~50 (20 developers), and the user base of the platform has gone from 3,000 to 60,000 users.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process for your assigned requisitions from end to end, the majority - at least in the first period - will be tech/IT positions:
  • Work with hiring managers to define hiring profiles, develop and execute effective sourcing and recruiting strategies, and structured interview plans.
  • Create a pipeline of qualified candidates in advance of needs.
  • Work with social media tools to source candidates via multiple methods, exploring new avenues for engaging and sourcing talent.
  • Manage the offer process, including offer approval and extension, references checks, and background checking.
  • Provide a high-touch, positive experience for each candidate.
  • Support other members of the Talent team by scheduling and coordinating interviews or sourcing candidates for their open roles as needed.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and internal team members in IT, Admin, Talent Acquisition and People Operations to complete pre-hire processes for your new hires, ensuring everything is ready to go for their first day.
  • Maintain accurate data in our applicant tracking system.
  • Report on funnel data and other key metrics, using this information to build & improve hiring strategies and ensure alignment to company goals around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
  • Contribute to broader Talent initiatives and programming around employer branding and talent attraction, DEI, campus & events, etc.

We are looking for someone with a combination of the following skills, experiences, and qualities:

  • You have some proven recruitment experience hiring tech roles such as software developers and engineers, preferably in a fast growing environment. You have demonstrated experience in managing the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, working on multiple vacancies at the same time and can set priorities.
  • You have experience in proactive sourcing and know how to find candidates in hidden places. Importantly, you are someone who understands the importance of driving an amazing candidate experience. Next to this you have some experience managing (international) recruitment agencies and know how to find candidates no matter the location.
  • You also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, are super organized and take ownership of your work. Finally, you speak fluent English and preferably love computer games and esports.
