Our organization is growing and we are looking for a Head of Global Commerce to contribute to that growth! This person will be responsible for leading our Commerce business and will be an integral piece in achieving our goals of producing high-quality products, fan experiences and global direct to consumer supply chain while infusing the Team Liquid brand and its various verticals into as many households around the globe as possible.

Initially, this position will be tasked with evaluating our current processes, vendors, and structure, making strategic recommendations to establish efficient workflows and hiring new roles to fill any skill-set gaps on the team. In partnership with Team Liquid’s leadership team, this position will then develop then asses the size of the opportunity and best way for Liquid Enterprises to optimize its position, brand & commercial prospects. As the leader of this business unit, the individual must be forward thinking in their strategy and non-traditional in their thinking, willing and excited to test new products and enter new verticals and geographic locations to reach as many Team Liquid fans as possible. This big-picture thinking is a must in order to accomplish our goal and take this business unit to the next level.

This role will also be responsible for:

  • Developing the strategic direction of Team Liquid’s merchandise and apparel and taking full ownership of the Business Unit to achieve forecasted revenue benchmarks.
  • Seeking out new business opportunities, collaborations, new verticals to enter, and new geographic locations to expand to in order to increase sales and reach.
  • Provide leadership and creative thinking to the analysis of market trends, and the identification of new market opportunities.
  • Develop a global market strategy and expansion roadmap outlining the long-term business plan. Strategic priorities and financial forecast.
  • Building effective relationships and successfully partnering with internal clients in order to optimize current vendor relationships and achieve economies of scale where possible.
  • Defining, measuring and reporting on the performance of existing SKUs based on type of product and region and making data-driven recommendations for the diversification of SKUs and globalization from a business growth and development standpoint.

You Have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • 8-10 years of experience
  • Experience managing a growing brand to at least $10M+ in global revenue while maintaining a bootstrapped, startup mentality.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing new attribution tools/vendor relationships.
  • Knowledge of globalization and localization efforts to activate in new regions

  • Experience leading, sourcing, negotiating, implementing and executing on collaborations, capsules and/or licensing partnerships with other brands.
