THE OPPORTUNITY
Team Liquid, a high growth entrepreneurial organization is looking for a talented Facility Operations Manager to join our team in Utrecht as we open our new Alienware Training Facility EU (AWTF), located at Utrecht Central Station (awtf.eu). This person will play a pivotal role in maintaining the growing operations throughout our new AWTF location and Company and Player Housing to create an excellent experience for our Athletes, Staff, Investors, Partners and anyone else involved in the operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Office & Facilities Coordination
- Ensure AWTF is consistently and regularly performing to Team Liquid expectations; coordinate building repairs; schedule vendors and/or building engineers for maintenance issues; direct day-to-day operations.
- Ensure the highest levels of hospitality, efficiency and experience for all external visitors; coordinate parking, catering, and additional services as needed.
- Manage facility related inventory including the purchasing of office and technology related and supplies in conjunction with internal Partnerships Department.
- Plan and manage interoffice moves; coordinate building space allocation and layout based on current and projected needs.
- Help to maintain and update building manuals, vendor lists, building policies and Company Housing procedures ensuring they are up to date with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to emergency calls during off hours and execute emergency maintenance services as needed.
Security and Accessibility
- Ensure security systems, alarms/alarmed doors, access and security procedures and protocols are functioning and up to date.
- Ensure that the office is always secure, all external visitors and suppliers have followed appropriate security/NDA procedures and keep our office compliant with data protection or other standards.
AWTF Culture & Events
- Partner with the People & Culture department to ideate and successfully execute on various company events including Game Day, viewing parties, happy hours and other small event coordination.
- Partner with the People & Culture department to onboard and integrate new Athletes and staff into the local office culture;
- Ensure new hire desk space, equipment and facilities related systems are set up prior to their start date.
- Conduct AWTF and Athlete Housing training.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least HBO education level or relevant experience (We’d like to hear your story!)
- You live in the Utrecht area, preferably within 20 minutes of our office
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with individuals of all walks of life
- Able to solve problems and incoming requests while remaining calm under pressure
