As you can probably tell, Team Liquid is growing, and we are looking for a Business Affairs Coordinator to join in our success! We are looking for an individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment with challenging yet incredibly rewarding work. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this person will support internal People Operations needs and maintain the legal and contract coordination with our external legal partners.

This is a full-time position, that will be required to work out of the Alienware Training Facility in Santa Monica, CA.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between departments at Team Liquid, and between Team Liquid and Team Liquid’s legal team, for all incoming business affairs and legal matters including all talent and business contract requests within Team Liquid.
  • Collaborate with internal contract requesters to gain an understanding of the relevant transaction, identify what information needs to be collected and forwarded to the appropriate resource for further handling, determine which resources to use for each transaction, and determine the level of priority.
  • Track department workflow to ensure documents are sent to and received from third parties.
  • Communicate orders-of-priority to staff that are working on multiple projects at your request, and monitor their turnaround times.
  • Upload all Team Liquid contracts and legal documents for signature in HelloSign in a timely manner, following up on outstanding signatures needed and ensuring fully executed documents are filed in the appropriate folder.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system in electronic and physical formats for contracts and corporate matters; create physical and electronic files; search and retrieve files on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist with visa and immigration matters, ensuring that all necessary information and documents are gathered and provided to our third party immigration attorney and logged and tracked in internally.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in a similar Legal administrative role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload, multi-task and manage various priorities of daily tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work proactively and independently.
