About Tarsier

At Tarsier Studios we take pride in working with our own IPs and knowing that all creative decisions lie in our own hands. We also know that it comes with great responsibility. We push ourselves to be at the forefront of creating games that stand out.

We are currently looking for creative individuals who do not adhere to the norm and push the envelope when it comes to their own creative thought. Taking risks while owning their responsibility is something as a studio we love to see and encourage.

We are a mid-size studio (65 staff members) and are looking to grow our team. We are in the process of creating two new games and are looking to diversify and add like-minded team members. You think you got what it takes?

Our games

At this moment in time, we are not ready to say what the games are or what genre they will be in. HOWEVER what we can tell you is that standards are incredibly high and promise that you will be making world class games.

We want to believe in the worlds we create. Our games should feel authentic, fearless, imaginative, and memorable; forging a connection between the player and the game that leaves a lasting impression ... or a permanent scar. We do that by marrying artistically mesmerizing worlds, stories and characters that you relate to with mechanics that amplifies the intended emotion and stories we want to tell. Worlds that you’ve never experienced before yet care about and get affected by.

A Lead Game Designer at Tarsier

Our Game Designers are hands on in the game editor and experience with Unreal Engine helps. We believe it is vital to work together as a studio in a collaborative manner and encourage one another to be great and stay humble.

We are seeking a Lead Game Designer who thinks Tarsier games “make the world a better place” and more importantly are looking to personally gain experience and knowledge along the way. The desire to learn and be challenged is highly appreciated. You are curious about your colleagues and want to coach them to do their best. You want to take an active part in improving cross-disciplinary teams, work together with directors and leads to formulate and carry through the game vision and the desired player experience.

Ideally you have experience from games and features conception to the final shipment of several games. We also expect you to be a kind human.

What you can expect from Tarsier?

Besides a paycheck every month, we provide a creative environment for our employees as well as a complete employment package taking care of everything from pension plan, health benefits to parental leave.

We are located in the vibrant Swedish city, Malmö and highly encourage non- Swedish individuals to apply. Our studio is international (we even allow dogs) and our studio language is English.

Please apply as soon as you can! Starting date as per your availability.
