Talon is looking to hire an exceptional Social Media Strategist/Manager in South Korea. You must not only know the best tools and tactics for pushing it to the right audience, but have a knack for creative and viral ideas. You will also lead the digital effort in pushing content and engagement for our players and events as well as executing campaigns to build our fanbase.

Job Responsibilities

  • Program Execution & Management: Spearhead and oversee the execution of all content campaigns including managing, auditing and reporting.
  • Content localization for South Korea and English translation
  • Manage advertising performance across digital channels (social, retargeting, prospecting, e-newsletters, landing page)
  • Manage social media profiles by publishing creative and engaging posts
  • Copywriting, proofreading and microblogging
  • Manage weekly content schedules for players and engage with fan messages and response
  • Assist to develop and implement content strategies in order to grow and retain our user base, stimulate engagement and conversions

Job Requirements

  • Work experience in a related discipline in either design or Esports
  • Native Korean speaker and writer, strong English fluency is a plus
  • A love of data - can both analyze a marketing funnel to size different growth opportunities, build tests to measure impact and analyze results
  • Keep track of hot Esports news and trendy topics on the Internet and transform them into viral organic content
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro (or similar) is ideal
  • Strong ability to prioritize work and resources on engagements based on long and short term outcomes
  • Available to work nights and staying active on weekends if required
