As a Sr. Systems Engineer, you will be a part of our global Media Systems/Directory and Unified Communications team! We are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core directory and all communications infrastructure. We support all game studios at Take-Two and are constantly pushing the limits of technology, while collaborating with our technology partners: including beta testing programs and customer advisory councils.

The Challenge:

Hands-on role focusing on media systems technologies and infrastructure. You will help lead the design and deployment of A/V systems and enable our studios by providing the environments they can use to collaborate, capture, and produce great games.

What You’ll Take On:

You Day-to-Day Will Involve:

  • Build and maintain worldwide standards for Take-Two organization and studios.
  • Design, deploy, calibrate, and manage AV solutions for collaboration space, event spaces, studios, and specialty areas like motion capture studios.
  • Know when to take ownership and when to escalate issues; our teams work to cover a global footprint and having self, situational and organizational awareness to know when you should take the lead on an issue and when you should bring in reinforcements to help tackle the problem at hand is critical.
  • Work closely with the facilities team, architects and project management team to define the scope of AV deployment for new office builds, and design various aspects of the AV experience in the office.
  • Guide the team operations design team priorities based on business needs.
  • Serve as a tier 3-4 contact n point for support and provide troubleshooting guidance/direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems.
  • Flexibility in work hours to ensure critical coverage on call rotation in a 24 x 7 support role for critical issues.

What You Bring:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in designing A/V solutions, or direct experience within production engineering.
  • Design and Deploy large scale systems, multi-vendor platforms and globally distributed infrastructure.
  • High level of understanding and examples of executing projects with automation with both internal and open-source tools to automate day-to-day infrastructure support activities.
  • Expert level maintenance and calibration capability to ensure exceptional user experience from content creation to end user playback.
  • Surround sound standards in production such as Dolby Atmos, Project Acoustics, & Playstation 3D Audio.
  • Experience in live television & sound production technologies & filmmaking (Such as Blackmagic live production products, Audio Mixers, etc)
  • Willing to learn or know how to script using PowerShell or Python and work things like XML/JSON config files, GitHub, Jenkins, Rest API’s, etc.

Bonus Points:

  • Specialist in Zoom Rooms, VoIP, and Unified Communications Platforms
  • Vectorworks experience with Connect CAD (AutoCAD is fine as it’s an easy cross-train)
  • Installed industrial lighting (Lutron), and Live production lighting experience (DMX, Artnet, GrandMA or other lighting console experience.)
  • Ability to use/manage a non-linear editing system (FCP, Premier, or AVID)
