Our Internship Program:

Take-Two’s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain substantive, first-hand business insight over the course of a three-month paid internship. Interns will gain hands-on exposure in the area(s) of their desired interests as well as participate in team-based summer-long projects. Our internships are created with the intent that students walk away with meaningful learning experiences that enhance both their personal and professional development goals. T2's Internship Program also serves as a gateway to building a talent pool of rising stars for permanent roles.

The Challenge:

The Information Security Engineering Intern position is a great opportunity to learn about how Take-Two’s Information Security Engineering develops and implements information systems securely. The Information Security Engineering program is instrumental in partnering with IT groups and individuals to aid in securing our IT Systems and processes. This role would work with existing Information Security staff members to learn about and aid in our Endpoint Security, Offensive Security, Security Incident and Response, and Vulnerability Management needs.

What You’ll Take On:

For this intern opportunity, the candidate will learn about the Information Security Engineering pillars for Take-Two, gaining exposure to the previously mentioned areas and contributing to secure them and further Take-Two’s larger objectives. At a high level, the candidate will learn about Information Security,

policies and practices and how they apply to security management of enterprise endpoints, incident response practices, and managing vulnerabilities to further secure the enterprise. The candidate will participate with all areas of greater Information Security Engineering, aiding to analyze and develop engineering solutions to technical security problems. Activities may include but are not limited to:

  • Work with team members to update or maintain existing Security applications that govern Information Security or aid in development of new systems in service of the same goals.
  • Assist with remediating security incidents identified across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with existing Information Security team members to review and improve information security posture and practices. This may include reviewing policy and standards documentation.
  • Observe and participate in initiatives to secure enterprise services including Endpoint security via Endpoint Detection and Response applications, Offensive Security methodology & implementation via Red-Team exercises, Asset vulnerability identification, and Security Incident monitoring and Response.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for application or process improvement using industry methodology.
  • Participate in security event analysis, and intrusion detection and prevention
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

  • Education: All Interns should be current students or recent grads.
  • Concentration: Computer Science, Information Security Engineering, Vulnerability Management, Security Incident and Response, and related programs.
  • GPA (If applicable): Minimum 3.0
  • Experience: Preferably experience in information security and information technology best practices. We will consider candidates with different work and educational backgrounds.
  • Knowledge, Skills & abilities: Strong Written and Verbal Communication, Attention to Detail, Time Management, knowledge of Information Security principles including MITRE Attack framework, and OWASP methodology is helpful.
  • Willing to participate in hybrid working model, based out of our Midtown Manhattan office.

Great to Have:

  • Understanding of information security engineering principles, industry standard frameworks, and Information Security application standards (EDR, SIEM, SOAR)
  • Basic programming or scripting language knowledge and understanding, Python, PowerShell proficiency, JavaScript, or others.
  • Planning to obtain or have obtained Information Security certifications (ISC2 CISSP, CompTIA Security+, SANS GIAC Sec Essentials [GSEC] etc.)
