The Challenge

We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Benefits Analyst to join a growing, dynamic team at a highly successful, forward-thinking, interactive entertainment company. This person will support all aspects of benefits operations for over 6,500 employees in 20 countries and will play a key role in strengthening the value of the benefits function.

What You’ll Take On:

  • Support HR partners with the management of all non-North American benefit plans:
    • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve escalated issues
    • Facilitate vendor security reviews and reputational screenings
    • Assist with the implementation of new benefit programs and/or vendors, including establishing efficient payroll, data transfer, and related processes.
    • Assist with the provision of requirements to HR Technology and testing for new benefit plan programs, design changes, rate changes, etc.
    • Assist with ensuring compliance of benefits offerings with all local regulations, government data submissions, and data security protocols
    • Maintain relevant policy, coverage, renewal documentation, and data in relevant systems, and conduct audits as needed
    • Run reports for Benefits Team, HR partners, Payroll, and vendors, e.g., around eligibility, renewals, membership, invoice payments, reconciliations, and audits
    • Support the Benefits Team with contract and policy renewals.
    • Monitor trends in employee requests for new benefits and design changes
    • Assist with the benchmarking of plans and programs to ensure they are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with local practice
    • Assist with the creation and delivery of benefits communications
    • Update and maintain benefits guides, summaries, induction materials, and other benefits documentation following any changes, implementations, renewals, etc.
  • Provide support to the global Benefits Team:
    • Work with various internal and external stakeholders to draft communications and plan events, challenges, and other wellbeing activities
    • Prepare and maintain materials for wellbeing champion and operations calls
    • Act as global point of contact where needed to monitor programs, respond to questions, and resolve escalated issues
    • Assist with management of global business travel and international assignment benefit programs, including collating premium details for tax reporting, processing invoices, and supporting local HR with claim submissions
    • Assist with new program implementations e.g., draft and maintain comprehensive project management plans, follow up with stakeholders on all actions, schedule calls and meetings, coordinate testing in Workday, and draft communications
    • Help prepare annual benefits budget request
    • Provide support with annual US Open Enrollment
    • Update and maintain Business Continuity documentation e.g., benefits contacts list
    • Assist with global, regional, and local reporting and analyses
    • Contribute to the development of new program and design change recommendations

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 4 years of benefits administration experience at mid-sized or large companies.
  • Ability to analyze, manipulate, make observations about, and present data.
  • Deep experience with benefits enrollment/administration systems and HRIS, along with an understanding of plan configurations. Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Experience calculating, reconciling, and paying fees and premiums to benefit plan vendors.
  • Knowledge of different benefits plans and typical offerings across all territories.
  • Understanding of applicable statutory regulations, filings and compliance obligations related to employee benefit programs.
  • Exceptional high-touch customer service and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of, and sensitivity to, cultural and regional differences.
  • Solid analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of, keeping track of, and close out open items.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment, under pressure, with remote stakeholders in different time zones and across a range of company cultures.
  • Self-starter with the ability to effectively organize and re-set priorities as needed.
  • Strong track record of identifying and implementing process improvement.
  • CIPD qualification is a plus.
